Premium lubricant made from sustainable biomass

GearFluid by SEW‑EURODRIVE is the environmentally friendly alternative to lubricants made from fossil raw materials. Our GearFluid is manufactured using sustainable biomass, which is indicated by a certified mass balance approach. For example, bio-waste and food waste are processed into a high-quality lubricant in a complex synthetic process. The use of fossil raw materials is therefore not required here.

Biological and environmentally friendly

The biomass used consists entirely of naturally occurring organic materials and food waste. No additional agricultural land is required to produce the biomass. As a result, GearFluid by SEW‑EURODRIVE helps achieve better sustainability. A high scuffing load capacity and excellent protection of rolling bearings are achieved through the balanced use of various high-quality additives. This ensures maximum protection under peak overloading of the gearing and reduces the risk of premature bearing failure.

Application

The synthetic lubricants from the GearFluid Poly series were specifically designed for use in helical (R..), parallel-shaft helical (F..), helical-worm (S..7p), helical-bevel (K..7 and K..9), SPIROPLAN® right-angle (W..9), planetary servo (PS.F) and in helical-bevel servo gear units (BS.F). GearFluid Poly is the ideal lubricant for demanding ambient conditions in industrial environments. GearFluid Poly lubricants are available for use in the following gear units by SEW‑EURODRIVE:

GearFluid by SEW‑EURODRIVE is available either pre-filled in gear units and gearmotors shipped by SEW‑EURODRIVE or for order in can packaging units to be employed by the user for servicing and maintenance purposes.
