What is geared motor remanufacturing?

Our remanufacturing process start with the disassembly of the used motor and gearbox. Next, we clean and inspect each component. During reassembly, we replace any damaged or worn-out parts. Critical components such as gear unit housing, motor rotor and stator, encoder, brake coil and/or other options are re-used as much as possible, without compromising quality or lifetime.

The reassembled geared motor is tested to confirm ‘as new’ performance. It goes without question that it is essential that all SEW products, new or remanufactured, are considered of the same high-level quality and lifetime. All remanufactured products come with a default warranty of one year, identical to the warranty of new products.
